Please help new member joined but i cant find them to activate

I got an email stating a new member has joined but when i went in to the user groups then inactive user it wasnt there so i cant activate the new member, help me

Hi Admin Zara, You can active these users by going into your Admin Panel=>Users and Groups=>Users=>Inactive Users... There you can activate those members. Smile

Edit: Do you have it set for Admin activations or member activation? mwii

Yeah i already know that ive had no problems in the past this is the first time thats happened i got an email that the user has joined and all i had to do was go in to admin panel then user groups and inactive user then activate her but the thing is it wasnt there for me to activate her and thats weird help

Also eventhough i got an email stating that this new member joined, it states no such user exist and along with not being able to activate them as the user is not there for me to activate but why is that i got an email stating to activate the user

Hi not getting much help here!!!! I got an email from a member trying to join it stated that that member has joined and when i went in to activate the member it wasnt there??????

is the activation email poss. in the members spam folder?
i have read that sometimes this happens.
It doesn't happen to me in regards to my forums, but when i joined another forum it DID go into spam (although I don't have any spam filters on)

never thought of that would that mean that the member got an email in her junk box then?? But still even when the member registered i get an email so that i can activate them because only i can activate them once i did that the member gets a email stating they are activated but thats the thing when i got email stating she wishes to join i went in to the admin panel then user groups then inactive user and it wasnt there for me to activate i will ask her to check her junk mail and see if there is an activating link.
