Do you want an arcade?
Arcade
A lot of people want an arcade system where they can add their own games, links to games etc.
I think it would be a great addition

Voted Yes, I Always Wanted An Arcade. Although You Do Know ITs Possible By Adding Threads Fill OF Them. Although It Is A Pain In The Butt.

Re: Arcade
As justy Man said it is already possible, and since my arcade is for my best users who work hard, I don't really want it to become something just anyone can use. Put in the work, if you really want it.
I voted no.

Re: Arcade
Yeah, I have that on my forum. I made it completely out of the empty HTML pages.
But I still vote yes, It would be soo much easier.

Re: Arcade
I did make an html page, but I don't want that, although it will have to do. A real arcade would be great

Re: Arcade
I vote yes! An arcade would be a wonderful addition to your forum and it also makes your board fun. A forum without an arcade just makes your forum dead and unnatractive so an arcade is the way to go. (No offence to users who don't have an arcade)

Re: Arcade
they need to have high scrores for members though, other wise it would kind of be pointless, since you can easily create an html page.
i'd like to see them really work on this.
I would even pay credits if they came out with multiplayer games similar to yahoo games.

Re: Arcade
yes. I have one in a subforum, but it would be awesome if we had one that kept track of high scores like the vbulletin ones.
Re: Arcade
forumotion could make money from this, you can have a free arcade on forum with like 7-9 games then you buy more games onto £5 for extra 9 games £10 20 extra games or something like

Re: Arcade
okay if you want an arcade with high scores and ability to add games...
you need to create a free account with:
http://www.000webhost.com/
You then need to go to:
http://quickarcade.jcink.com/
You then need to download the quick arcade to your computer, log into your free webhost account and upload the quick arcade to it. Follow the installation instructions that come with the quick arcade download. Once you have it up and running, you can then link to your quick arcade on your forum
THe downside:
Free webhosting is not as reliable as paid. It may go down a lot, or a little. Depends.
Your users will have to register to your quick arcade to use it. Most wont mind this though. Mine didnt

Re: Arcade
i know you can do this but i think would it be 100% better if we had one that was part of the forum and members dont have to regsiter on it.

i think ipbfree has this...
members don't need to register again..
highscores are recorded using their usernames in the forum and are reflected in their profile..^^

Re: Arcade
For a lot of us, it's NOT easy.
So I'd say yes, please give us an arcade.
I set up an arcade (thunder arcade) on my back-up forum which is from invisionfree...and I linked that arcade to my forumotion site. It's just a temp solution for now.

Re: Arcade
I have an Arcade out of HTML so this is already possible but why not make it easier for people who don't know HTML? That forum favicon in the last couple of updates was already possible, yet the technicians made it much easier (Hell a lot!) for us.
But as Spook says, Forumotion can also make cash out of this (Like the Gallery space for example).
I vote yes.
