I need help on importing themes onto my forum? Can you just upload a backround image or like wallpaper you fround on a site and set that as your theme?
Re: Themes
You can as long as it's not copyrigted.
Also, if it's from another forum, I advise against it, because it might be made by the admins from that other forum, and therefore they could deposit a complaint useing their copyright on the image

I found a theme and I imported it but al it is saying that the import has ended and I don't knnow where my theme went.
Re: Themes
Hello.
The theme import works only with the .bbtheme format.
The only way to generate a .bbtheme file is to have the theme previously installed on a board and exported through the theme export. Theme makers usually don't use this feature to spread their themes, because the pictures' URLs don't change at all.
For example, this support forum's pictures are hosted on my photobucket account. If we export the theme and import it on another board, the pics will still be hosted on my photobucket account. Because of this, theme makers don't use the export feature, because they don't want to have their personal host's bandwidth drained by having these pictures hotlinked on several boards...
Tell me where did you get the skin, I will give you the link of the topic giving the directions of the skin installation (the directions are different for phpbb skins and editboard-compatible skins).
