Solved member has registered, user name already exists?

Hi There

I have a member who is trying to access my forum.

They have already registered and confirmed their account, but when they go to log in, they receive an error message telling them, that user name is already taken.

Sorry, but that e-mail address is already registered to a user.


when i go into my membership list, no one has that name, and the email does not exist

any direction would be awesome!

Go to Users & Groups> Inactive Users and see if they are listed there. If so you can activate them

hmm interesting, why would it appear in there, if they have already clicked on the activation link themselves?
