Do you think that this is a good idea? (please read the topic first)
Greek forumotion support forum
First topic message reminder :
I don't know if anyone has asked this before...
I'm from Cyprus but I would like a forumotion support forum in greek.
I belive that there are thousands of people from Cyprus and Greece who would like to make a forum and visit forumotion site but want help or explanations.
Please don't post here in greek because it's not allowed.
Post your thoughts about it!
Thanks.
Don't forget to vote in the poll!
(Most of my friends want to make forums but when I told them to visit the site and start their own forum they had problems and questions that needed to be answered)
If you want to support our dream for the creation of the official greek support forum please visit the link and sign the petition:
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/GreekSupportForumotionForum/index.html
We have created an Unofficial Support Forum located here:

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
We need votes and I think that the techies will decide.
I'm not sure. Maybe an Admin can solve your problem.
I would like to learn it too. If anyone knows who and how will decide about the suggestions, please post it!
Thanks and don't forget: we need your votes and your opinions!

I see that there are a lot of people who agree...
I had never thought that there were so many greeks here!
Anyway I think that the technics will decide.

I think that there are 200-250 registered greeks here but I also think that there are many more greeks who haven't registered in the english support forum and are waiting for a greek one!

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
Go ahead i am with you so far. Already vote (yes). We should have a Greek language forum + support forum and of course in all other language so be easy for every one to fix or to open or to do thinks easier to his mother language.
Perfect subject for voting. And i want to do thinks in my own forum but i have to open books often to understand some thinks. We don't have Lower or Proficiency in English most or many of us ( I don't have neither).

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
Indeed, it's the techies and the Big Boss (Gizmo) who decide eventually which topic is accepted or not.
Pacific; Please don't P.M me for this sort of question

Ok, sorry.
Does Gizmo check the topics himself?
Anyway I hope that this suggestion is accepted by the techies! It's a dream for us!

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
I had the same desire the first time I saw this forum.
People here give very good advises and it's a pity for people who don't know very good english (or know nothing in english) that they can't follow them.
A greek support forum is the best solution for this problem.
Of course, the members won't be so much, but if we need more help we can make a post here and translate it to greek.
I vote yes hoping that the responsible will make us this favour.
Truely, does anyone know who is responsible for this?
Anyway, whichever you are, please make this forum

Who knows...
I would like to hear why. They haven't posted though. It will be interesting to learn, in my opinion.

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
Well, my opinion is, as I've already said, that this is a good suggestion that will help all Greeks, especially these who don't know good english.
I also think that this will make the greek forums better as I have notised some orthographic mistakes that I can't ask to correct from a person that doesn't know greeks.
The greek forums will be better, also, because the administrators will understand the advises about html etc so the will be able to add more effects to their forums.
Two weeks before, I've tried to add a special cursor to my forum, but I couldn't do this. I couldn's ask for more details as I wouldn't understand them. A greek forum would be very useful in this occation.
Last but not least, if there were a greek forum we will be able to ask from members to create images with greek letters. This is very important in my opinion. It's a pitty that we see greek forums with english ranks and banners. It doesn't make sense.
I would like to help for making this forum. If there is a way to help you, please let me know.
Thank you in advance (if you make this forum).
PS: I'd also like to know who voted no and why. I want to believe that he'she voted no by mistake.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and opinions with us!
I completely agree with you.
We'll see what will happen.
Other opinions?
(Who voted no? I'm thinking about this all the time!)

I also voted yes. There are a lot of people from greece inside here and this could be very useful for us. Nice idea pacific. We can make a section where every greek who has a forum over here can promote his/her forum in order to be a big community eeee?

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
Don't worry, if we aren't able I believe that there will be some volunteers that will translate these for the others (I will be one of them even though I will have to search all the words in a dictionary
)

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
I can't answer to your question but I know that there is a greek support forum (but from other company).
A year ago, I created a forum, and I was asking them to help me as forumotion didn't have greek support forum.
This year I had a problem that they couldn't solve as my forum wasn't created by them company, so I joined here.
I'm very disappointed as no one responsible answer us.
Nobody says either this forum will be created or not.
It seems like no one reads our messages.

Re: Greek forumotion support forum
Well it would be useful. But I am not sure there will be a lot of activity in it.
Since ok, but there arent many greeks on the forums.
You see this topic has 2 pages with non greek people replying ..
I am for it. But I am not sure how active it will be.
Regards,
Christos
