Celebrations On Your Forum? Empty Celebrations On Your Forum?

Post by Sports Fan on December 7th 2008, 1:24 pm

Just wondering if you guys reward any of your members when you break different milestones on your forum. Do you change things on the site for a bit etc?

Just asking because my forum is about to crack the 200 member mark and I'm just wondering how I can reward the members and the site?

Any ideas!?!

Yeah, I provide some Honoured users with genuine software licenses.

And recently, one of my members had a problem with his mouse asking for support. The other admin on my forum offered to give his optical mouse mailed to his address since he's been an active member for quite a while.

Perhaps you can provide some special ranks?

hmmm me and my admins updated the site a little. changed it around. and gave them a few new things to choose from. but mostly we kept them updated and allowed them to celebrate at every milestone.

I just grant them with a personalized trophy, increase their reputation points, or just grant them access as a VIP, so they can access the hidden VIP section of the forum.

Maybe once I have enough members, I might start adding some awards for milestones. But at the moment, it's not worth the time and effort.

Ehe... our admin team at my friend's forum reward members for being the 'site clown', or 'most helped', you know.

I honor my members at 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 posts continuing.
They seem to enjoy the honor too. Each member has their own thread. It is good repor and brings in extra posts.
