vaccancy requests Empty vaccancy requests

Post by jose101 December 23rd 2008, 8:00 pm

I think that on this forum you should create a forum saying job vaccencys or somthing related to that. If you do, Then the members that come on here might be very talented and moture enough and may want an administrator or gfx or even moderator job. But mostly so they can explore the other features of some of our forum. Or gain more skills. Threree are lots of good and bad points out there on this suggestion. But i hope this would be took into consideration.

Thankyou

Jose,

I have two things to mention about your request. One is small and insignificant: you sould have said "taken into consideration" instead of "took". But UK's grammer aside, could you please clarify what excatly it is that you want? I'm not sure I understand. Stop me when I mess this up but you want a forum where it is listed that so-and-so has kicked the bucket (for example) and now their job is open, any bidders? That might be just a tad bit irresponsible on the part of the management if they were to permit this. Picking replacements, be they temporary or permanant, is a large desicion on the part of the management. Of course I say all of this with the upmost respect intended Smile

I dont understand a word u just said but oh well lol. It was just something i requested to help other forums out lol. Especially mine. What i mean is they make liek alittlee forum saying jobs on yuor forum somthing similar. So then you post you forum with the ammount of jobs taken and ammount avadible at what teh job is. But its not a big deal if its not taken into consideration.

(Ooh and by the way i dont talk correct language i talk all sorts of tenses lol say if i was talking past i would proboly talk present. But im not like it in writing stories. Lol)

I think not. You can always say in your forum's presentation that you are currently hiring for staff. People will see it and register on your forum to become a member of staff.

I'd tend to agree with Dai;
Members who register for the staff and not for the forum are dangerous. Either they're serious and will be reliable, or they come, take the rank and dissapear; no middle line

But I can see why some people might want this, so I'll wait and see

For this reason, I vote no.

If you have this you can set a limit on what date members need to register to comply with this.

I'll Vote later.

Agreed.

You can make a post on your forum as an announcement, or use the welcome message feature for this. I really do not think there is much of a need for an extra modification for it.

Well i see where you are coming from diffrent parts but still all link together. Even though im the one who suggested this i see that it has made sense to lock the topic as for we do not need it on this forum. As for i understand what the other members had to say. I now agree with you all. Which is quite weird. But hey thanks for all the replies it has really made me think LOL...

I would like this topic locked and took to trash or deleted.

But i do think what MrMario has said is quite a good idea for the forum promotion part. If this is not already mentioned as a rule.
