New members in my forum

How i can force new members to post something as welcome msg?
And dont allowed them to post anything else for 24 hours?

This is good idea for new members to search in my forum before start asking anything that they can find by search in forum.

I don't think that you cannot allow someone to post unless you ban him.
Also you can force someone to post by sending him a warm welcoming message which is telling every new member to post somewhere or relocates them somewhere...

It is still a problem that, many are like inactives because they didnt posted anything in my forum.
