Make Sticky/Announcement and other options have gone.

I have a small problem on my forum that has only happened recently.

When making or editing a post the Options To make the Post Sticky/Normal/Announcement are no longer displayed, neither are any of the other options, I spent a couple of hours last night playing with the settings in the admin panel last night, trying to get them back, but with no success.
I have been able to make unmake sticky's and announcements without issue in the past, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would check the permissions of each forum and see if "make a sticky/announcement" is checked.
though those should always show for admin..

try highlighting the area where the Post message as *normal *announcement * sticky
maybe you changed the color of something and the text now blends in with it.

These options are not just hidded they are not there. It looks like the options window is collapsed, I've posted a screenshot below, only the options titlebar is visible.



I last posted an announcement on the 23rd of December. I made no changes to the forum config since then, I'm at a total loss, but I would like to get this feature back.

I have just got this working by switching from phpBB2 to phpBB3

phpBB2 is what I have always used without this problem, seems like a new problem.

I have tried them on my forum for all versions and they work like they should. When you saw the collapsed Options section did you clicked this icon on it's right side ? This will expand the section and then you should see the Options section.

That was the problem alright, for some reason the options section had collapsed and I totally missed the , maybe I need some new glasses, or a bigger monitor
