How do I change my username?

I created a forum, but my username is Admin. How do I change it?

You change it in your profile

Make sure that you allow members to change usernames first.
Users and groups>user options>user settings> allow users to change user names

Go into admin panel, click on your name, and change it, simple, why make it so complicated lmfao

Click on Your Profile (Name)
Then You`ll see

Administrate user:
Profile - Ban this member

Click on Profile.

and you`ll see your current username just delete that one and add the new

It's not always so obvious when your new to forumotion.

Psi-chotic! doesn't require your approval.

IF they had it set to not allow members to change usernames, even the admin can't change their username.

From the admin control panel the admin can change anything, for anyone, even theirs.

Not if they're new, and don't know where things are they can't.

Simple answers to change username(s)

From the admin panel:
Admin panel >> Users & Groups (tab) >> find user, enter profile >> under USER NAME change it to the new desired username > save.

In profile:
Profile >> User name > change > save.

Note:
only the user can change the username in the "profile" section, and it can only be done IF it is enabled in the admin panel.
