Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility
I have just installed IE8 and the formatting of the forum and various functions have changed or disappeared.
It is saying that www.ewz-clan.com has to be run in compatibility View, as the website is designed for older browsers. Sorry to be the one to bring this to your door, and in fact I am hoping you know about this already and can offer a solution.

Well actually... you will need to create some new fixes for IE8 ...
From what I have managed to gather... our fabulous Microsoft has once again made a fart out of their browser... and new css fixes and stuff must be made inorder to sustain the browser.
IE8 has got new rules and it doesn't read the old ones.
for coders this is a big ditch ... now you need to make fixes for 6 7 and now 8... 3 separate codings for one useless browser.
what can I suggest ? mozilla firefox... apart from that... you can always go and create an IE8 css fix...

Re: Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility
Thank you Jalokim but I think it is possible to use the "Compatibility Made" option of IE8.
It seems to work quite well but obviously anything running in compatibility mode is by it's very nature is not true "native" mode.

The best you will ever do for yourself while using the internet is to get rid off Internet Explorer.
Replace it with :
• Firefox
• Opera
• Google Chrome
Anything but IE. Really.

i still wanna see what W3C come up with in the future... I know that CSS3 will be coming out real soon... CSS3 will allow a lot more uses and I suspect all browsers will have to be updated inorder to use the new advancements.
maybe things will be equaled then.
