why does my forum slow down to a dead stop?

things are going great with my site but last night and tonight the chat box and forum was kicking people out and freezing up ????

what do i need to do to not have this happen?

If you have a Hitskin theme, try re-installing it.

Also, I would recommend you resynch your forum. To do this :

Administration Panel >

General tab >

Forum -- Configuration (found on sidebar) >

Scroll all the way down to the Misc options* section, and where "Resynchronize your forum :" is stated, check the box and Save the settings.

Resynching your forum doesn't delete anythng, it just destroys small settings problems that affect your forum.

Well. You had a problem with something causing your forum to be all slow; so now that you managed the settings correctly, you can check your forum to see if it's the opposite of before.

Lol, ok. I gotta go to bed now. If this problem isn't solved while I am gone, I'm sure another suer will help you Wink
