Solved Giving people powers [solved]

Post by CoRE_-D4M4G3D Wed Feb 25 2009, 00:57

i want to give certain people powers in my admin panel but i don't want them to have all those powers. Example i want a team that can help with the look of the site but i don't want them to be able to change theme just colors and pics. Then i would like my staff to be able to manage people and the forum and catogories but not anything else how can i do this

Once you give them admin they can change anything. Besides the Founders account, delete the forum, buy credits/spend them and use the Founder Utilities.

As everyone else has already stated, it's not possible to do, however, I have managed to find the suggestion for this.

You just posted the same link that I did - right after my post. I don't think that the author needs it to be thrown at them multiple times. You should stop trying to get your post count up, it's quality that matters - not quantity.

I don't want to get into an argument or anything similar, but I don't understand who you didn't see it. Your post was THREE hours after mine.

ParadiseKid, do NOT moderate other members! I appears by the mere fact that you brought up the post count that it seems more important to YOU, to get yours up. These two posts are considered an attempt at starting a flame war and/or attack of a member. The next time we see a post like this, will result in a serious warning.

Being as this thread has been fully answered with no other options, and redirected to the suggestion, I will mark this as solved and lock this topic.
