To change to forum width, Go to General>> Configuration>> Pages structure>> Forum width (number or %)>> Change it as you want.

i have phppb and i changed it to invision and invison it shows px in width and pix in hght and auto now what can i do

Change the one which says auto. I suggest putting it to 900 or 950.

in auto i write 900 and in px i left there are 3 option 1 is auto and 2 is widht in px and 3 is hight in px

I think its because of this picture:
