Delete My Own Account

I belong to a forum and I no longer want to be subscribed to it.
I am an administrator so I can delete my account.
I no longer go on the site so don't want my account.
I cannot find a 'delete my account' button anywhere so...
where can I find it?

I've tried to delete my own account using this link, but when I put in the forum address, it doesn't recognise it, because it's one with a specific domain, and not the www.my-forum-name.forumothion.com thing. So, how do I find out what my forum address is??

i had this same issue, i desperately want to unsubcribe from a forum but it has got a basic www.abc123.com domain that was bought, the unsubscribe link above dosn't recogniose this, please help me find the forum address required, the site in question is www.vuucult.com if this helps.

When I enter my user & pass in https://www.forumotion.com/en/unscribe/
it just show "You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password. " I can log on to forum but I cant delete myself? Any idea whats wrong?

surely somebody somewhere on this forum has the power and knowledge to carry out our requests?

IF i was you i would pm Typlo and ask him to help you as there is not really anyone that will help you out on this here the only way we know is to do as the mod said but as your site is not a set name there maybe some other way to do it like the admin remove it for you

Thats the only way i know of deleting your account yourself from a forum.

If so, it would be nice to change ur password to something, such as "Victory1", wait 24 hours to ensure the database knows ur new password, then unsubscribe

For #1 DO NOT do as iv got above!!!
What you do do: http://www.abc.mydomain.com
That address will very from site to site, use the FULL Address of your forum.

For #2 Make sure it is ur username, nothing more; nothing less
EX: Username = Jonny_jon
You do put in Jonny_jon
DO NOT put in JONNY JON or any other alternate, the system will NOT recognize it

For #3 Password: Remember to keep is something short and simple; if it does not take ur current password, and u can access your account, change your password to something more simple (Such as "Victory1"), wait for 24 Hours, then try again.


Remember, if all else fails, you have two options left over !!!
1) PM one of the Administrators on that forum, and ask them to delete you (this will NOT work if ur a founder, ur account cannot be deleted) (this is the most recommended option)
2) PM Typlo (an admin here) and ask him to delete your account for you.

I have gotten pretty detail for this answer, I hope it works for you guys.

If you have done everything correctly, then I suppose u have to contact an admin, or u can just leave ur account there, and go inactive

Bump. I know I would have to contact an admin but I would like this to be solved by a technician it's not only me that's having the problem.
