Advertising and Forums for age 13+ to use
While I know that advertising is necessary and probably wouldnt mind it much if the forum was for adults, my forum (or potential forum !) is for age 13 to 18 members. I cant have them seeing advertising. It just wouldnt be right especially when I have no control over it.
So, what can I do ?
I see you can buy credits, but I doubt our organisation would do this as a forum is just an add on which we thought we would try. However it doesnt even tell you how much the credits are.
I need to know the facts now before I go ahead. I cant have a load of young folk signing up for a forum and then six months down the line we need to change to a new provider.
Do you have any answers ?
Thanks in advance.
I am hoping you can maybe make our forum and similar a special case - I can only imagine you benefit from advertising your service anyway by us using it and all our users may well go on and set up their own forums and their parents may do so as well.

The only way to remove ads is by buying credits. Also, i don't understand what are you really asking for.

Re: Advertising and Forums for age 13+ to use
Well what I am basically needing is to set up a forum for age 13 to 18 to use and as it is in an official capacity I cant have advertising over which I have no control appearing.
So either I will have to buy credits, but cant find out how much they are.
It doesnt actually tell you. Maybe it does when you get to the point of paying up but there should be more information about that.
However as my orchestra group has not really got into the idea of a forum yet I suspect they will not want to pay so the whole thing will be abandoned. I just thought you might have some occassions where you can make exceptions as I would have thought it was better to have us there than not.
However thanks for reading my query.
