I cant identify my moderators

Hello there. please help me regarding my mods.
ive activated "disallow moderators to ban members" too NO. and then all the ranks can ban members? the global moderators, moderators, desingers, promoters, vip,. They can ban members. Why? the only thing i want is . The global moderators can ban. but how the other ranks can ban?? Also.. how can i add moderators panel using punBB2.thanks

if you have it to ware mods can not ban then no one but admins should be able to ban.

i'm going to go to my test board and switch to the punbb2 to see if i can see whats going on.i'm sure it's just a simple setting somewhere that your missing or overlooked?

in the meantime any other members or staff know this please do reply.

OK i seem to be striking out on this one.
whats throwing me off is when you create a punbb dose that come with a globalmod rank already in place or do you have to create the group and rank?

i think because i never create the test forum as a punbb thats why i am unable to find the solution. but that strange because i switched to the invision the other day for someone and was able to help them? so dunno. i tried.

hang in there. staff or another member more familiar with the punbb will be able to help.
it still seems odd that if you have your mods set to not baning that your other groups/ranks would be able to? unless you have it in the groups permissions? but i am not seeing that.

so what shall i do now???

there are two mods in my forum.......
super mods and mods.....
so which one can ban...........................?

Once you give the mods to ban they can ban there is no option to pick witch one can ban.

Hello,

you cannot give one particular group permission to ban.

If you have a group called "Mods" and a group called "VIP" and you have given them rights to "Moderation" under the permissions under ANY forum, they are classified a "moderator" and thus able to ban anyone (bar people with ranks)

Is this clear?

contests and such are of personal opinion, but I use the "stat" competition alot
(its where people post alot for prizes)

To change the width of your forum:

Admin panel >> General >> Forum/configuration > Scroll down to bout 1/2 way > "page structure" > change the "forum width" (recommended between 70-85%)
