Bubble Messages

This was just a random idea that I had.
How about we have this little feature where you can send a quick bubble message to a user, and the message appears as a pop-up bubble with the message. You choose which user to send it to, and it will appear on their screen. There can also be a little box you can activate holding all of the messages that you recieved when you were offline. This is just like how you send message on IMVU; if you want to know what I'm talking about, download IMVU, build a room, and then type in something and press enter- a message will then float up the screen (appeared as a bubble) holsing the message. What most of you users think of this idea is that: "this is just going to be a waste of time" or "I don't want spammy bubble message apeparing all over my screen." Just be reminded that this could feature be activated in the users' profiles; it wouldn't be default.
I don't give a damn if this gets accepted or not. It's just a little random thing I felt like suggesting.

ROK..i like it. Is this kinda a IM? Can only the person you are sending it to see it? Its a yes for me....

I like it too!!! It would be a very easy way to get a quick message to another user, and ensure that htey get it when they login, because i know for a fact that i don't look and see if i've got any PMs, so...

Yeah, only the person being the bubble message being sent to can view it.

Indeed. I hate it when a user doesn't reply to his/her PM after a long while. >.<

It reminds me of pager messages. It's a really nice feature,and you can send the message quickly and easily.

wouldnt that be like almost the same as the already existing pm-notification pop-up....?
just that you need to click it to come to your inbox...
the problem with them (why many dont reply almost instantly) is that many simply blocked any pop-ups.. so they dont notice if there a new pm arrived or not...

sure... this bubble might lure in the eye of a member more....
but i just wonder how that would work...
