Solved Banning Members

Post by cougar30 June 15th 2009, 1:31 am

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to ban members temporarily? When I say that I mean by a warning and then 2/3 strikes they are out and to administer what a member posts on the forum?

Thanks

Yes, I mean either a temporary ban and also is there some way that when members post a message that it can only be posted when I release the message, once it has been looked at?

Thanks

for a temp ban go to the users profile via ACP and go down and at the bottom of thier page it should say "special admin-only field" it should say Banned click that and you'll see options to ban members for a certain amount of days.
I dont think you can approve messages, before they are posted.

Thanks for the reply - If anyone does know of a way of approving messages before they are posted - It will be good to find out.

Thanks in Advance.
