I have a small proposal ...
each forum to receive and access ftp
whether or not to pay some credit .. and can buy access ftp
ie ftp access if you can import themes May faine setting and many other more detailed

hitskin can put issues on the site .. but if I have the computer can not install an example .. be afraid only extension. bbthemes like ...

You CAN upload ur own BBThemes through the admin panel, BBThemes are the only ones you can upload

FTP is too complicated for me. All these links to upload images and stuff Would be cool for FM though.

I get to follow and if we had this ftp I can not change themes can only import any subject can change after the pleasure themes just as we + + many other setting would be something nice members would learn more and forum = would be more populated ....

ftp is a must thing for all own-host web sites and forums. and it's not really complicated very basic logic process.

you can create folders for your files or images to use in your web site, and than send your files to this folders mainly on public_htm / root folder. you can index them or make their chmods writeable or not... so simple.

but if we think it's in forumotion, i don't know we need it or not? Cause like one friend said already we are doing all things on admin panel not with folders and file sending. Normally in phpbb boards for example phpbb 3 boards (if you're using prosilver theme) template edit files which we are using with paying seems like this on ftp:

example:
root/style/templates/pro_silver/overall_header

these are all folders except, overall_header file is a php file.

in forumotion we don't have permissions to edit all php files which makes our boards stable. Like admin panel, or themes... With ftp, you can download all this php files and edit them and send back to your root again for to make them custom as like as you want...

i think this make the subject clear for who don't know the main structure...
