Problem with copying from MS Word Empty Problem with copying from MS Word

Post by caysa on July 6th 2009, 8:54 pm

Hello,
On our forum we have a member that tells wonderful real life stories, pics and all!
He uses MS Word ( as he saves them on his computer too) and he has been copying the text and then pasting it all into a post on the forum.
A few days ago he deleted the forum cookies and after that strange things started to happen.
I also do delete the forum cookies quite often so I decided to try the Word thing.

This is the way it would look like written in word (using size 12):
-------------------------
text text text text text

[ IMG ]http://illiweb.com/fa/pbucket.gif[ /IMG ]
----------------------------
Seems simple enough to paste that into a post???
But.... The text comes out real small and odd looking. Ok, I hit edit and this is what I see:
-----------------------------------------------
[ size=12 ] text text text text text [ /size ]

[ size=12 ] PICTURE SHOWS HERE [ /size]

--------------------------------------------
I hope I was explaining it good enough....
How can we get back to what it was before deleting forum cookies (if that is the problem, seems so at least) so that we can just copy from Word??

Hopefully waiting for a solution....

Problem with copying from MS Word Empty Re: Problem with copying from MS Word

All that was done.
I got an other admin to try too. I sent her my word document. She saved it and then copied and pasted the content to the forum.
Worked just fine!!!! But I cannot do it, neither can this member of ours.
Then I tried another thing: I copied the same text + image code into Power Point, saved it and copied- pasted to the forum. PERFECT!!!
So.... I guess it must have something to do with the word settings both I and the member has. I have tried to find something odd, but can't... Even did a windows update.
Strangely this problem appeared only after deleting the forum cookies...
Does anyone have the slightest idea what we are dealing with here.....?
