Hi,
As a moderator, is there a way for me to disable a Guest sending me PM's? The nature of these Pm's is threatening...
And also, we have our forum set up so that people have to register as a user to get into the forum, but apparently someone can search terms (I assume that is what the Google Bot is for) on Google and get into the forum? That's the only way I can figure that this Guest is able to PM me...or, is there a way for a Guest to sign into the forum that I am not aware of?
Help...this is a big concern!

Is there someone specific I should PM? I sent to 2 different people but no one is answering me...this is pretty important, it's vulgarity, etc.

Hello Punky99,

A guest shouldn't be able to PM you without logging in. I have tested it on my forum and it does not work when I am a guest, it always asks me to log in. May I have the link to your forum just to confirm? Thanks. Smile

Do you have a link at the bottom of the footer saying Contact? If so thats how the guest are contacting you.

To disbale it go to Admin Panel>>Gerneral tab>>Messages and emaisl>>look for contact forum click no>>save
