I think admin should have a way to reset post counts. Either of everyone on the board, or specific members.

You can set the post counts to 0 already

admin panel
Misc

I would say you should be able to lower or raise them to a number of the Admin choosing.

^yeah, thatd be nice, cuz i moved from a diff forum, and my users were pissed that they lost all their post counts from there
