[Request Assistance] Custom Skin Installation

Hi,

I currently have a professionally made custom skin sold at exaltic.com and intend to install it. I know that forumotion does not provide ftp services and the database will not be given out unless a sum is paid. So I am humbly requesting if any technicians, programmers / anyone with knowledge on how to apply this skin with just the default templates and css stylesheet (note the skin stylesheet for the one I have is XML) to assist me. If anyone is willing to help me then do add me on msn (pm me or something) where I will send you to a .rar version of the skin.

Themes from sites other than hitskin.com are incompatible with forumotion forums.
In addition exaltic do vbulletin themes... forumotion forums don't even have or use that forum version. SO if you have purchased a theme, I think you may need a refund.

I doubt, manually adapting the theme to forumotion and to a vbulletin alternative will give a similar effect

Then could you help me do something similar to that extent? The main point is just the navigation bar and border. The rest are pretty much ordinary, buttons and icons and just be added via the picture management. I only just require the main body of the border and navigation bar.

can you get me a screenshot of the theme?

I'll see if there isn't any additional coding that could not work.

well... the top and bottom should be easy to code... the navbar... hmm... it could be done...


the insides is what is limited...
it won't have the frame all around it.
I could transfer this as a fixed theme on IPB ...

but I am seriously backed up and I'd be able to start this sometime next week

im sure he will get on with it for you but he did say that he will get on with is and i know for sure Jalokim is a man to he's word if he can do it he will ok its only 9 days from the post he sent by the way it takes longer than that to play with all the coding to get it right

im sure if you pm him he will let you know how he is getting on or even if he has done anything yet

All im doing it telling you to hold lout for him to get back to you as he has a lot of work to do on here and in he's own site right now but if you have pm;ed him im sure in time he woill help you pleaes just hold a bit longer for him then bump your post there is no need to bump a poasy every day

im not doing it to upset you just saying that he is one of the best guys to do that sort of thing and im sure he will if and when he gets time but im sire you could get some one else do do it but it may not be half as good as the mods one
