friends list / notification

my problem is as following...

when i add someone to my friends list.... the added persons dont get informed in any way that i added them to my list...
so... unless they look themself into the friends list... or i tell them to look inside... they wont ever know that i added them and will never approve my request

so my question is:
is it possible in any way... to make a notification to the friends list....?
maybe sending an email/pm.. or a pop-up just like for pm-notification...
or ... i dont know what...

However, you can join the suggestion for it in the suggestions section

i would just send them a pm saying i added them to your friends list.
Also when members go to there profile they will see if there is a request there.

well... ppl dont get often to their profile... why should they? ö.ö

i only get on my profile... when i have to change something... and then i most likely only do this and wont look around into the other tabs

so just create a announcement or sticky saying that friends management would be done in there profile etc... or you can news letter informing everyone too. thats about all you can do for now.there are a few different ways you can inform all of your members of this. home message info in a widget. put the info in your Sig. it just depends how you want to do it.

you can add it to your faq aswell.
