Forum restoration did not work?

Using the utilities link, I tried to recover one deleted thread and was unable but it changed my board to the time I went back to 2 days ago. So I tried to do a full restore to return to the state the board was right before I did this using the drop down menu. That did not work. I followed the email links that were sent to me. Is there a way to make the time of a restoration more specific? My board is fine but I am missing some threads,posts and a new forum I created.
