Registration Emails Not Going Out

Hello people of the world!

I'm trying to get something resolved if possible. When trying to create a test account last night on my forums (www.epoch.forumr.net) the registration email was not going out, and if I tried to make another account with the same username or email, it would say the email or username is already taken, though no registration email was received.

Now I thought it was just being screwy with me, but one of my [want to be] members cannot register to log in because he has not received his email

Any help?

PS, spam and filters were checked, neither of us have yet to receive the email, while others have right away.

You might have to manually activate the accounts by going into Admin Panel > Users And Groups > Users > Inactive Users and see if your accounts are there.

Yeah I did that in order to bypass the whole email problem, but I'd rather know why they didn't go out.

because you don't have it set for them to recive the activation email.
you most likely have it set for administration/your self to activate the accounts.

try this.

admin panel>user/groups>user options.
scroll down to (New accounts activation) and select users. then they will recive an email to activate there accounts. or you can have it set to auto.
it's how you wish to have it set?

No I have it set for self activation, not through me. I should have been clearer when stating that. Some members who have joined have received the email requesting activation without a problem, while my 2 tests accounts and another person did not receive their emails at all.

I am getting the same problem the difference is I am not receiving an emails
