Unwanted ads? Empty Unwanted ads?

I have these Google ads on my forum and I can't get them off. I know there's supposed to be an option saying "Activate Ads?" but I can't find that either. Please tell me where I should go. Here is a link to my forum: http://weirdlyawesome.nstars.org

Those ads can only be removed using a purchased ad removal kit, via the admin panel in the Misc. tab.

but you cant disable them completely... unless you do what david said
