the number of threads and posts per page

Hello

to explain as simply as i can at this moment

i feel there are too many posts in a thread before it goes onto the second page. i would like to be able to control the number of posts per thread, but i dont know how. can someone help me please?

and also, i feel there are too many threads per category...the most threads in a category at my forum is 49...at what point does it go onto page 2?

i would like to make it 20 threads per forum

does anyone know how to change this?

Go to Administration Panel => General => Messages and Emails => Configuration => Messages => Posts per page: number (how many posts you want on one page) => Save

The first is for number of mesages in page

This is for thread on page

Go to Administration Panel => General => Messages and emails => configuration => messages => Topics => Topics Per Page : number limit 50 (choose the number of topics per page) => Save
