how do i install a banner?

cant find where it says how to install a banner, ive seen it somewhere but cant seem to find it now.......any help please, thanks.

hi, thanks for the info....found it now but the problem im having is that where i had a picture at the top of home page , the banner is just replacing that and not going all the way across the top of the home page?

any helpanyone please ? thanks.

p.s. how do i know what size it should be to go across the full width of my home page? thanks.

Just go on increasing the width of the banner & check until it fits.
