Re: Split: Member written tutorials
Well I just spend 2 hours on probably the best tutorial for colors and fonts, but because of the lame ass characters limit I couldn't post it in one post.
And it would be confusing for the new member to coherately flow through the tutorial if it was broken up.

Caihlem, I sent you another tutorial for Enabling HTML. I hope this one gets accepted .
I don't see why my Profiles tutorial was refused; I spent like time on that. But, I'm not going to argue with something that's childish to even start an arguement over.

Dungeon Master;
Could you provide a screenshot to explain what the code you provided does? I'm a bit allieanated when it comes to codes
Rok;
Your tutorial was refused because there's already a big tutorial on profiles
I'll be reading the new one now. You can post them here too if you want though

Re: Split: Member written tutorials
Isn't mine a bit more in-depth than:
BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. Whether you can use BBCode is determined by the administrator. You can also disable it on a per post basis from the posting form. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML: tags are enclosed in square braces [ and ] rather than < and > and it offers greater control over what and how something is displayed. For more information on BBCode see the guide which can be accessed from the posting page.

How to put multiple medals
Hello Forumotion, you guys may have been begging medals for a long time and I'm here to tell you how to get multiple medals or how to add just one medal. I'm going to give you step-by-step instructions.
Adding it
Prelude: Make sure you uploaded your medals to photobucket or something and have the medal's html code ready
1. Go to the admin panel and go to "User & Groups"
2. Go to "Profiles" and make a new field.
3. For the field, put "Enriched text"
4. Put the name and description.
5. As the default content, put "No medal"
(I say this because this is/will be the default, or which medal a new registered user will get)
6. As the "Obligatory: This field does it have to be filled?"
Put No.
7. Put as the preview, "This field is displayed in writers' profile and in the members' profile page"
8. As the "Who can modify the profile field value ?" Put Administrators or Moderator.
10. Once your done there, save it.
Seeing if it works
1. Now go to any of your members profile or your profile and paste the HTML code from the place you got your medal. You can keep on adding or stop on your first one.
You can put in more medals as you like.
2. Now that your done, you may want to preview it, Just look at the members or your previous posts and you should see them.

Shop tutorial
Shop tutorial
Hello people, You may have been asking forumotion for a shop system. I'm here to show you how to make one. This is going to be a simple shop system.
Putting the system itself
Prelude: You must have a photobucket account or any image serving account and your shop icons must be 48 x 48 pixels.
1. Go to Display-> then User & Groups --> Then click on "Profiles"
2. Click on "Create a personalized profile"
3. Make it a "Enriched Text"
4. Put the name and description in.
5. For the default content, put "None"
(This will show up when a newbie registers)
6. Put "No" for "This field does it have to be filled?"
7. Put " This field is displayed in writers' profile and in the members' profile page"
8. Put whichever you want for "Who can modify the profile field value ?"
Your done for making it, but you may ask for how to put the shop items.
Adding in shop items
1. Go to your photobucket account or whatever and copy the HTML code for a shop item.
2. Now go to your profile and paste the HTML code.
3. Then press the button "Modify"
4. You should now see your shop item below your avatar.
Adding in Money
You may think the guide is over, but it a shop is nothing without money.
1. Go to Display-> then User & Groups --> Then click on "Profiles"
2. Click on "Create a personalized profile"
3. Make it "A Bar"
4. Put the "Name" and "Description"
5. Put the "Minimum value" as "0"
6. Put the "Maximum value" as "999"
7. For the "This field does it have to be filled?" Put no.
8. Put the "Preview" as "This field is displayed in writers' profile and in the members' profile page"
9. Put Administrators or Moderators as the "Who can modify the profile field value ?"
Adding an a Shop section (OPTIONAL)
1. Go to the Admin panel---->General----->Categories and forums
2. Make a new forum called ,"Shop"
3. Put where it goes
4. As the description put "A place to spend your money"
Then your done, be sure to be creative with your new shop and you could make a new topic in your shop forum explaining it and how much you items cost.

Changing widget title color version 2
Don't know how many of you noticed but in version 2 the font color for the widgets name title color is the same as the regular text color. This may cause a problem for those who have black as their regular font and have a dark colored category image.
Screen shot of what we are changing:
Navigate & Find
...This can be changed via the CSS!!!
Admin Panel
Display
Colors & Pictures
Colors
Click on the CSS tab
Find this:
- Code:
.module-title {
font-weight: bold;
margin: 0 auto;
text-align: center;
display: block;
}
Change to
- Code:
.module-title {
font-size: 11px;
color: ;
font-weight: bold;
margin: 0 auto;
text-align: center;
display: block;
}
Be sure to add you color code! (Example: color: #ffffff)
Click save

Tutorial created by Rok
This is a very simple tutorial no how to create a Widget (or Module, if you would say) :
1. Firstly, open your Administration Panel.
2. Click on the Modules navigation tab. (If you don't have your forum set in Advanced Mode, you are not able to outcome this tutorial successfully.)
3. On the side bar, click on Forum widgets management in the Portal & Widgets section.
4.
On this page, scroll down the Forum widgets management section until you reach directly under the blue-outlined Widgets Displayment Box; if you look below this, you will the button, so click on it.
5. Now, on this page, you are able to modify your custom widget. Let's say that you want to have a chatbox as the widget; name both tables (Widget name : and Widget title :) as 'Chatbox', and paste the code of the chatbox into the description (Widget source * :).
If you don't have a code for a chatbox, use this one (which is from Xat):
6. You now have to navigate back to the Forum widgets management.
7.
Scroll back down near the bottom of the Forum widgets management section, and you'll see the button; obviously click it. Observe for your widget you just made, and once you find it, drag it up into the blue-outlined Widgets Display box on either side you want (if you place it on the left side, it will appear on the left side of your forum's index; vice versa).
Make sure you Save the settings.
Now you know how to create Widgets.
If you have any questions or problems about this tutorial, PM Rok.

I did it, but without realizing that I was merely adding in something like 6 pictures, which were permissions / and new rank / edit this pics, nothing that in depth though + I thought you had left for good (hence you could not send it there).
Give me this weekend, and I will draw up a new draft and post it here, as t will be much better than the current one (I hope)
Anyways, it may take a bit longer than this weekend because I have several work related issues concerning my pay happening (happens often)
