How Am I supposed to set up one when the whole thing is pockmarked with direct links to registrations?

well you are supposed to only show the Images in the link bar.

I did just that and unfortunately, a frame for the image of the original Registration link still shows up. A rectangle with a red x whish still remains to be clickable.
