Deleting my own account

Hi there,
I am a Moderator of a forum, and I'm trying to delete my own account and I save the changes, but when I go back into the Forum all my posts still show up, and I can still log in, etc.
The Administrator won't delete my account. I need to make it so that all my posts are either removed, or shown as posted by a Guest. The Forum environment has gotten pretty hostile and I just want to be "gone."
Is there any way to do this? I'd appreciate any tips anyone has...other than deleting all my own posts, I've already deleted about 300 of them and there are still about 1200 out there.
