Why is it on our forum some members seem unable to pick the emoticons from the list on the left hand side, yet can pick them from the drop down menu??

What do you mean?
Members can pick them for the drop down menu, but not the section on the side of the posts?

you should be able to choose them from both places the same.

Exactly!! I have had a couple of members mention it and the same goes for me.

I can use the ones over there >>>> when on this forum but on my club forum

http://blitzen.editboard.com/forum.htm I can only use the drop down, when I click on the side panel of emoticons nothing happens.
