What are the limitations of BBcode?

What are the limitations of BBcode in our posts on this forum? Because you can do practically anything with it in relation to CSS. I just want to know.

What do you mean what are the limitations on the characteristics in a post?
Characters in the messages: 15 999 characters (Including spaces)
I am not sure what you mean by bbc codes. you can only use the bbc codes that are set up for the forum.

No, what BBcodes are we allowed to use on Forumotion? I know we can't use like color and bold.

Italicized?
Underline?
Table?
ect.

I'm just wondering because it's pointless for Forumotion to disable html when BBcode can do the same thing. (Example at bottom of screen)

That's what I meant. I think it should be limited, partially, because we don't need people posting tables blocking out the entire page. That would be a hassle.

I think you do have a point but not everyone is very good at BBCodes and CSS so disabling HTML can help to a great extent

That makes sense... But does this mean we are allowed to post those on this forum? Because as far as I know, it's okay to do.. The rules say nothing against it..

Yes, there is no specification for using BBCodes and CSS in posts but we should not use them if not needed. It is just useful to decorate posts, what else?

So, if not needed, just avoid using CSS in posts, though there are no restrictions mentioned in rules. You can make tables, background images etc in your posts.

post what on this forum.. bbc codes. it depends what your posting.
because we do not allow members to use colors or bold text. thats only reserved for staff.

so i dunno i'll just leave this to you and ankillian. i dint realy understand the question from the get go. been out at sea to long today i guess?

if it's any constellation i use html css and bbc on my forums

I think using BBCodes is ok till the members respect the rules i.e not using bold and colored text.
