PunBB Stickies & Announcements question Empty PunBB Stickies & Announcements question

Post by alistilla November 27th 2009, 5:27 am

If you make a forum on PunBB you will see that there are two sections to a forum. Announcements & Stickies, and the regular posts. How would I get rid of the "Announcements & Stickies" section, or maybe even hide it? Thanks to anyone who can help. :wouhou:

Hello,

To remove it, there is an option in Admin CP > General > Messages & Emails > Configurations > Separate announcements and stickies from the messages

Choose whatever you want and Save.

You can select 'No' to mix the stickies & announcements with other normal topics. It won't show up separately.

You mean, you don't want to stay them on top?
Am I getting it right?

Hi,

If you don't want them to display there then you need to change the type of topic it is. Open each topic individually and edit the first post in the topic and scroll down to you come to post options then there will be different radio buttons with sticky, announcement ect.

You need to select topic and select save. You then repeat this for the rest of the topics in the separated area.
