I used font amienne, size 30, bold
I'm not sure, but I think it could work for dark or light backgrounds

I don't like them

the background is very simple and you only put the text

you use paint or photoscape, no?

Generally a big no no no from my side... I don't like this font, 1 color background without any effect and sharp edges... And you also misspelled Calendar and Register...

I recommend just using gimp. Photofiltre isn't the greatest graphics software. Also, save the images as .png for better quality.
