Homepage Message

I like the Homepage Message (or welcome message) feature that the forums have, however I don't currently use it because I have a slight problem with it: it stays even after you log in.

I've been searching this forum for a way to make it so that the homepage message dissapears after logging in, but haven't been able to find anything.

Is it even possible to make the homepage message dissapear once someone has logged in? If anyone knows of a way I'd really appreciate it if they can share it with me.

No, not the home page message.

You can create a log in pop up though which will only appear if you are logged out.
Admin panel > General > Configuration > Login popup

Thats a bummer. Thank you for the alternate suggestion, I know about the pop up but I find it a bit intrusive, so I don't use it. Thanks anyway.
