Solved Help re Auto subscribe

Post by jo p December 13th 2009, 12:00 pm

Hi folks - a bit of help needed please. I have set auto subscribe for members at 1 post and then they auto subscribe to another group when they reach 200 posts - first group colour green second group colour purple (thats just fyi Wink ) So I have a member who has now reached group 2 - however she is still showing as green instead of purple - I've deleted her from the first group manually and she shows as purple but as soon as she posts on a thread it takes her back to being green - I'm really really confuddled!! So the question is - is it possible to auto-unsubscribe from a group once you've auto subscribed to another group??? I hope you can make sense of this post cos it's as clear as mud to me Embarassed lol! lol!

There isn't any option to stop auto group but I know of a way that could fix it. I just need a picture of your legend.

try place your visitor group at the bottom of list in your groups.

Admin panel>user groups>groups.

Just move the visitor group to the bottom of the list and see if this works.
i belive what is happening is that they are being put into the new group. but the still remain in the old group. so you will have to have the purple group in the list befor the green one for them to show up as purple because technically they are still in the green group as well.

so try that and let us know how you make out
