Would you like to have an option which allows you to send Private Messages to everyone who is registered on your forum?
MASS PM
First topic message reminder :
I would suggest to the people who created forumotion that they create an option which will allow moderators or administrators to be able to send a Private message to all the members of the forum(eve those who are not a part of a group). I know that you can send a Private Message to groups but I think it will be a very good thing if you could create such an option that you can send PM's to everybody who is registered on forum. I hope that you will consider my proposition and make such an option available. Thank you for reading my suggestion.

Re: MASS PM
You can already do this. Go to ACP>General>and I think news letter. And johanmandal you can also send a PM to certain usergroups.
Re: MASS PM
Yes I would love to have this
I hate just making PM's to Groups but not all of the members
Good Idea Luky =)

Re: MASS PM
I have a forum with almost 1000 users.
I noticed that a big number of them barely ever check the mail they used to register on the forum so newsletter isn't really useful to me.
If I make a sticky, few first members will see it and then it'll be forgotten.
Even if I post something on the portal in red bold letters size 18, half of my members won't read it.
So yea, mass pm would be greatly appreciated.

Re: MASS PM
You could make a hidden group where all members are part of and send it to that group, however, it would be too slow. I voted yes.

Re: MASS PM
Honestly - i thought we already had this option. Apparently not.
I voted yes because that is always a good idea to notify members about something important. Well done Luky.

Re: MASS PM
I thought it was already possible with groups because on one forum I am on I sometimes send bulk PMs out to everyone via the groups but not everyone since some of them are not in that group/s. But with everyone in the forum, definitely and I am voting yes on that one, it would be much easier.

Re: MASS PM
I voted yes. I would like to see that option implemented on to Forumotion Forums. Not some members get the E-mails either because they don't check their e-mails very often (they only check them because they are registering on a forum and they need the validating link to log-in), or they just can't be bothered. This would be very useful!

I aggree, letting other non-mod users using the Mass PM funcion could cause some problems to the forums.

This is a great idea Lucky.

Re: MASS PM
Love it. I hate having to add all members to a usergroup, this would be a fantastic addition.

Re: MASS PM
Definately yes! It would be brilliant as, as other members have noted, the mass email usually just goes to junk/spam and most people don't read them. A PM would entice people back to the site and hopefuly pique there interest to come back again
