Make a forum only visible by URL
I need a code to hide a section of the forum, and only available by clicking on a link to go there. Is that possible?

Code? Lol, no codes are needed. See my test board: http://forum.manageboard.com
In the description, there is a link and that will lead to a hidden forum. Do you mean that?

Reign, thats not right.
MrMega, what you need to do is to create a forum only visible to administrators. Then, with in that forum, create a subforum on visible to who you want.
Thats it. Then, get that link and place it wherever you like. So, to members, they won't be able to see that forum, but the forum within it will still work.

Yeah, but my members aren't that dumb. They can easy just change the number in a section of the forum's URL.

HTML pages are the same thing. You can easily just change the number of the URL at the end and they'll discover it.

It doesn't matter, you will have one forum where members cannot even access, and then the subforum within it. That means there will be 2 forums they won't know of so it appears nothing has changed. Other than that, there isn't any other way.

This could also be helpful for people wanting to make Administrator Corners or Moderator Corners... I think this is solved as well.
