I am wondering if there is any way to add a button that shows your ranking within a "top 50 XXX site" (the xxx being scrapbooking in my case).
I have a code but have no idea where to put it?

try putting the code in a created widget.

You could just use a small picture... as a "button" or hyperlink it to a different site.
