More than one Group Moderator per Usergroup

Hello,

I suggest allowing more than one Group Moderator per Usergroup.

As you know, the responsibility of the Group Moderator is to accept/deny group membership request.

Problem is, if the designated Group Moderator for some reasons is unable to login to the forum for some time (e.g., he/she has to go to some place where there's no Internet connection), then the requests will be delayed, and users will complain.

To prevent such problems, there should be more than 1 Group Moderator per Usergroup. This way, if one Group Moderator is unable to login, the other Group Moderator will be able to take his/her place. Complaints from users feeling they're being unfairly delayed will drop.

You have my vote but please note that your admin's can also ok the members aswell but your right if you had more then one mod in each one it would be better as the admin's Don't get a Email to let them know.

yes this would help out the Admin from doing this when the one is not able to get online. plus if you have 2 Moderators then both of them should be able to do the same things.

if one was not able to do something and the other is able to then the one that is not able to would feel like you dont trust them and prob leave.

i hope that they change this soon.

I'm actually in favor of this one because I would like to assign at least 3 people to moderate the moderator's group due to the fact that I can foresee my current forum expanding in a large base.

I suppose I should have mentioned this in my previous post, but I must add this:

If a board allows for multiple accounts per users and you have a moderator with four accounts per character [for a role play forum] then I think that the groups should allow for as many moderators as you want.

I also agree that administrators can do this, sure, but if you have lots and lots of members, you're going to want to have moderators to approve members into certain groups... that and I don't want kids in my administration panel.

I agree my forum is growing and I would like Moderators to help.

this is an amazing idea!!! until then though, whenever the main group moderator goes on vacation or whatever, just pass on the group moderator job onto someone else :3
