main logo help!

Hi I'm new here and I'm using a skin from hitskin and I don't understand the logo.Isn't there a way to keep your skin logo without that writing that comes on it,instead it would say name of my forum along with description? Any help on this would be appreciated thank you!

18 views and nobody!????? there must be a way to keep the logo and remove that stupid writing that comes on it!!!!

can someone please help with this issue I'm having.I have searched the support forum here and couldn't find an answer.

You will have to save the whole banner first and then work on it to remove the writing on it . Its a tough job and might require a considerable amount of time . Why dont you give me the link to your forum and tell me what exactly to remove . I can try it out .

Thanks for replying.I was hoping for a easier fix. Giving you my group url wont help as I don't have the logo up that came with my skin because of that writing on it. I ended up just adding a graphic of my own but would love to use the logo that came with it since it matches the skin,just the wording on it removed.Why do they even make it that way.

Well , there are two ways to get back your original logo , in case you want .
1. Reset your images to the original one and you will get it back .
2. Search for the name of the skin and save the logo .

oh and I want it bigger but stupid photobucket is messed up right now

Okay , so you want the above banner with all the "Floral Effects" text removed and "Apostolic Friends Lounge" added , right ?
I will be working on it and will give my best to make sure you have what you need .

Because the person who made it wanted everyone to know that he made it. It only takes a couple seconds to change. While it would be incredibly difficult to change the text on the banner, it could be replaced with another.

Thank you. Is there any way to PM the person? I dnt really want to have to register just to ask the person.

while I'm here, can I ask what something is on my forum I just noticed. The buttons, quote edit etc at the very end it has like 3 little green tiny squares,what are they? And I have a online graphic,I changed the image from what came with my skin but I'm not seeing my online image anywhere.Instead next to my user name when looking at my profile in text it will say online.

You can PM Jalokim here, but I doubt he saved the PSD necessary to edit the banner.

It's like that in a lot of phpBB3 themes. It can probably be removed via CSS.
