Solved NOT WORKING: Member is considered "Offline"

Post by BearvilleGuide_Admin February 21st 2010, 9:56 am

This feature in the Admin Panel is not working. This was set up in my forum the first time it was released and it worked fine then. Recently though, users are shown offline the moment they log out.

Time in minutes before a member is considered "Offline" : 60

You mean the 'online' icon/image beside a member's profile on posts is shown even if they're logged out?

i mean, this feature is not working for my forum at all. it is suppose to show users who have logged off online and will remain online for 60 minutes. it was working before but it doesn't anymore.

I think you don't understand what it does. It's suppose to show who is online for some time that you have set it to before you are offline in which it will remove your name on who's online.

i understand the feature perfectly well, pardon me if i haven't described it very accurately here. the problem is, i have set it to 60 minutes and it worked perfectly fine before (when this feature was first released). now, whoever logs off doesn't show its name on "who's online" anymore within 60 minutes.

here's a screenshot of the settings:

Logging out will remove your name from the list.
You are logged out and are considered a "Guest".
Names remain for the duration "if you do not log out".
