i tried changing the forum width from 100% to 80% and nothing happened, then i tried it to 75% and still no result

can someone please help me change my forum's page width so it fits the screen of any computer by using template editing or any other solution

Also if members post photos, make sure you have limited their size, I had that problem with them until we got the new features.

I also have this on my forum when members don't know how to post a link properly & post a great long one. I have to edit them.

This might be a CSS issue that people have when installing themes.
Go to Display>Colors>CSS StyleSheet.
Then press Ctrl+F and type in the word "wrap" without quotes.
A result will show and it will most likely be the first one that appears.
Right underneath "wrap," there should be something that says "width: x%" and there should be a number in place of x.
You should be able to change the width by changing that number.
If this doesn't work, then sorry Razz
Hope I helped.

Sometimes, the browzer you are using plays a role in improving your administrative experience.

I used Google Chrome, and i had alot of problems with it, such as the forum didn't show me my altered colors etc. REMEMBER: This problem is browzer based.

Then after encountering this and getting numerous feedback from my users, i decided to change to Firefox...and it worked wonders.

this is all i have in my css stylesheet:

Code:
html {
background: #000 url("http://www.dodaj.rs/f/2l/j6/3RcPRexE/bg2.png");
/* Height is 100%, so the body can be 100% */
height: 100%;
}

body {
background: url("http://www.dodaj.rs/f/2h/lT/3y4CHLCn/gt2.png") no-repeat;
background-position: bottom center;
/* Height is 100%, so the tiled BG will tile all the way down
 the page, not just as far down as the page’s content
 (when the content’s height is less than the window’s height) */
}
/*
Hackety-hack-hack…
FF2, with the above code, will only display the repeat-y image for as
 high as the window’s viewport is; higher content (upon
 scrolling) will not have the bg.
This "hack" makes the tiled background work properly in FF2.
This type of "advanced selector" is not understood by IE6…dunno
 ’bout IE7.
*/
html>body {
 min-height: 100%;
 width: auto;
}

div.t16 {font-size: 16pt}
div.t9 {font-size: 9pt}
div.t12 {font-size: 11pt}
