Re: How to make moderators group?
You will need to add the member to that group.
Users & groups>group administration
Click on the group name.
Then add that user by searching his username

Re: How to make moderators group?
It's automatic. And based on the part after Part C, where the modifying the permissions, you will have to check "Moderate the Forum" under that group. Also, you can enable them to delete other's user's posts, so that to make your job in clearing spams easier.
Here's Part D,
Go to Users & Groups ==> Rank Administration ==> Add new rank ==> Name the rank "Moderator" ==> Check Set as Special rank "Yes".
You can also add a picture by pasting the picture URL beside "Rank Image URL"
Done.

Tell me quick...I'll see that I have a successful tutorial
Addition, to ensure the word Moderator is displayed underneath the Username of the user,
Click on the users' name ==> Administrate user: Profile <==> Click Profile ==> Scroll down to the bottom ===> Under Special admin-only fields ==> Go to rank titles ==> Select desired rank ==> Save.
Remember to click Save after each modification, or else your changes won't be made.
You can click the users' name through Users & Groups ==> Search User

Re: How to make moderators group?
You can skip the add members part for now, but you can create an extra account to test the system

Re: How to make moderators group?
No more...the only thing to test this system is to create an extra account.
Then log in your admin and add this member in. Then log in with the extra account so that you test the system...like the way you moderate and so on...
I created an extra account for myself...so that if any reviewer wants to review my forum, i can use this to let them use. Some more, i can test out certain stuff, like my warning systems, moderating usage and so on.

Re: How to make moderators group?
You can change the permissions {the part after Part C}:
Then, repeat Part A and click ==> Select "Advanced" ==> Modify your permissions to parts of your forum.
You'll see this right? Tick those boxes under Moderator Status...so they can moderate the forum.
You go to the General Tab ==> Categories & Forums ==> ==> Click "Advanced" if you haven't ==> Tick along the Moderators row, Moderate this forum; Delete it's own messages.
Delete it's own messages is to enable your moderators to delete others posts

Re: How to make moderators group?
No, as i said earlier, you create another account for yourself...to test the system...and see if it works.
And you go back to your admin account to "promote" your other account to Moderator.
Use the other account to try it out...
This is what i do if i'm unsure of things
