Forum version and theme change

I want to change my forum from phpbb 2 to punbb in the admin panel and when i try to select a theme from hitskin it messes up the whole page.

Yes, you need to install skins directly from hitskin.com

i did and it still doesnt work it just changes the navigation bar and the rest is blank

may be you are trying it in a wrong way...its simple though..!
can you please tell us how you changed your theme ?
because it works fine for us...

Ok i go to admin panel-display-styles-choose a theme-version i change it to punbb then i go to hitskin choose the skin and click on it and then the nav bar changes and the other stuff(categories, forums) its not there completely blank

Nopes, just find a skin on hitskin.com then install it there.

I think you are trying to do something via the admin panel.

Just install a phpbb3 skin from hitskin.com
Once installed, install any other skin that you like.

are you sure your ccs style sheet field is empty and you have unchecked the "deactivate basic css ? "

I just previewed it, it looked fine. If you are installing via hitskin.com it should not be a problem.

admin panel , display , colors , advanced , and there css style sheet clear all that is there..!)

the make sure you have checked "no" for basic style sheet DE-activation, right bellow the sty sheet..!
