Yshout Shoutbox
Guys I think i have a little problem here. Yesterday I bought YShoutbox (http://lumichat.com/yshout5/example/) only to find out that Forumotion does not support PHP. Now I thought I could come up with something and after searching on these forums for a while I saw people mentioning that they hosted the Shoutbox on a different server(that does support PHP) and then link it back to their own forum using an Iframe. I tried to do this yesterday but I really do not know where and how to install the Yshout chatbox(when I bought it I got this map full of PHP and text files).
Could anyone please give me a step for step instruction? It would really be appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Nima

^Nope, that's what I'm trying to do right now. Do you know someplace where I can upload and install my shoutbox? Because if I can then the rest will be easy.

Find for free php web hosting.
To be honest, now using a free chatbox like one from meebo.com or something is much easier.

I searched but couldn't find any, do you know any good ones? And those free shoutboxes really suck, they're ugly and most of the times all the good features are left for premium. I only paid $3 for this Yshout one and it's really nice.Sanket wrote:Find for free php web hosting.

Well, I signed up, uploaded and installed the shoutbox only to get this message:
''Sorry but PHP has been disabled for free accounts. To upgrade your account so that you can use PHP, go to your service manager. ''
lol

Re: Yshout Shoutbox
I solved it I created an account at X10Hosting and they do allow PHP changing. But before you lock this can you please give me the CSS code to change the background color of the announcement block? I found this code:
#fa_ticker_block {
background-color: transparent;
}
But that didn't work, I think it's because my forum version is Invision and that code isn't meant for Invision.
