I'm trying add some emoticons to my forum and they end up with transparency problems!

The white background of the emoticon is not transparent and it looks bad on the forum..

Could someone help me?

Did you save the images as a png from wherever you downloaded them to your system? Because jpeg doesn't support transparency.

Yes it's saved as .png, but yet there is still transparency problems

here's a picture of the problem, both emoticons are saving as .pngs and yet the transparency still poses a problem..

Not when its uploaded to servimg. On your computer, what is the extension ?

.png with a white background

and with smilies there's no thing for urls..

I don't think that would work. The time when you created the image, it should have been created as a png

What color should the background in the image be in order for it to be transparent?

There is nothing you can do unless you know how to make images transparent. So best option is to let someone do it for you.
